A Lit Moon World Show

Power, Intrigue, Politics, Murder

Shakespeare’s historical tragedy is re-envisioned as a chamber Dream Play, played by four women. Richard’s seductive machinations play out in an intimate, shadowy world of delights and despairs. Mothers mourn their children’s destruction, wives grieve their husband’s deaths, as Richard draws the other characters into her world, “capering nimbly in a lady’s chamber” all the way.

This project is funded in part by the Organizational Development Grant Program using funds provided by the City of Santa Barbara in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission and the Santa Barbara Office of Arts and Culture.
