A Doll House

Marriage, family, sex, money… and Nora, one of theater’s greatest female characters, are the focus of Henrik Ibsen’s drama “A Doll House.”

Set at Christmas time, we find Nora and her husband Torvald at home, flirting with each other and getting ready to delight their children with Christmas presents. An old friend of Nora’s shows up and subsequent scenes reveal that Nora has a big secret that she has kept from Torvald at great cost to herself. How this secret plays out, and the eternal questions the plot raises along the way makes for an enthralling night of theater.
